Option 1: North Shore Excursion (3.5 hours)

September 25th, 2016    9:00 am - 12:30 pm

This tour will surprise participants with the natural beauty of Vancouver’s north shore and spectacular city, mountain and ocean views.

A deluxe motor coach will take you along the Stanley Park causeway and over the impressive Lions Gate Bridge to the North Shore, for a visit to the Lynn Valley Canyon. Century-old western red cedars and Douglas fir trees of Vancouver’s temperate rainforest tower over guests as they cross the spectacular Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge, offering stunning views of raging waters, waterfalls and deep pools below.

While walking through this breathtaking park, watch the steam rise from the forest floor and the misty sun rays pick their way through the overhanging branches. Guests will learn about British Columbia's rainforest ecosystem and the history of the north shore, experiencing this untamed treasure of Vancouver, a once-in-a-lifetime experience not to be missed!

The tour will then visit the Capilano Salmon Hatchery, where guests will have the opportunity to see the remarkable and colorful Coho and Chinook fight their way upstream.

The motor coach will then head to the peaceful Horseshoe Bay, where guests will also have time for some shopping at the “Spirit Gallery”, which offers a superior collection of West Coast Native Art from renowned and emerging artists alike.
